Gulmerg is the crowning glory of Jammu & Kashmir and is located measures above sea level. Known as the “ Meadow of Flowers”, it boasts of the world’s highest golf- course. This is a popular skiing destination, It’s located at a distance of 31 km from Baramulla and 49 km from Srinagar. The city is placed in the Pir Panjal Range in the Western Himalayas and lies within the boundaries of Gulmarg Wildlife Sanctuary.

Gulmarg Gondola Lift
Considered as one of Asia’s longest and highest cable car ride, this entire ride comprises of two stages-Gulmarg to Kongdoori, and Kongdoori to Apharwat Peak.
Alpather Lake
The pictorial water body is 13 kms from Gulmarg, on the foothills of the Apharwat Peaks. It’s embraced by rocky- mountains and endless meadows that are covered with wildflowers.

It’s one of the largest 18- hole golf course in the country. Situated at an altitude of meters, it’s also the highest green golf course in the world.
